It was purely by chance that we were linked up with the Matteus Scoutkår from Norrköping for Scout 2001 but it was the most fortunate link ever! We were allocated to them by the organisers of Scout 2001 when we said we were interested in Home Hospitality and we consider ourselves very fortunate indeed. They looked after us wonderfully at the camp, especially when it came to the mysteries of Swedish food and the camp recipe book (all in Swedish, naturally) and proved to be the perfect hosts for our home stay visits. The Guides and Scouts have formed strong friendships which we hope will prove lasting and we very much hope the Scouts will visit us un England next year.
